Play around with yogoguide’s multiple viewing options!

A few weeks ago we introduced the List View option on yogoguide.com, which can be applied once a user has selected a subcategory from yogoguide’s main menu.  For example, selecting ‘upscale’ from our ‘shop’ category will instantly bring the bright red List View option button up onto the screen.  Of course, once you’ve selected the List View option you can, at any time, revert back to the Map View by simply clicking the bright red Map View button at the top left of the screen. The option for a List View is ideal for those desiring a more traditional layout with which to view our selection of establishments throughout Paris, though we do encourage everyone to play around with our (original) highly interactive map.

Our reason for adding the List View option was simply in an attempt to provide an even better yogoguide experience for our users.  We’ve received very positive feedback from those who have tried the List View and, if you haven’t already, I encourage you to give it a go!  I actually went back this morning to try the List View out again and found it easy to use, attractive to the eye, and I did like being able to see multiple listings at one time.  However, my preference is for the more interactive Map View, because I find it helpful to see exactly where various establishments are located across the city.  And I see the interactive map-based layout as more visually pleasing and unique to the regular online experience.

Take some time to play around with all the options on yogoguide.com and I bet you’ll find your familiarity with Paris much more complete than when you started!
