Just about the best place to wander in all Paris.

Vibrant Area

The le Marais area is full of bars, restaurants, history. I'd recommend reading up on the area first and/or doing a self guided walking tour app (like we did)

A great neighborhood to find good food

Reasonable prices (for Paris) and very good food. I'm picky and in fact consistently frustrate my family with my claim that French food is so-so. This neighborhood may have begun to change my mind.

great walk

We walked from our hotel near the opera garnier, to this area, it is not as far as it looks on the map, when you get there, there are loads of little unique shops and some very nice cafe's
